Marie had the privilege of witnessing her first birth over 20 years ago, with the birth of her nephew. 

She felt it was truly the most incredible life event and fell in love with the miracle of birth. Over the years, she had the honor of assisting many friends with the births of their babies. 

After the birth of her own daughter at a birthing center, she especially realized the importance of emotional and physical support in labor. She knew then that when the timing was right for her and her family, she would follow the journey and be a doula, wanting to provide a calm and nurturing atmosphere for the mother.

Marie is lovingly supported by her husband of 20 years, and wonderful daughter. She is certified as a birth doula through DONA, International and is certified as a lactation counselor through ALPP (trained with Healthy Children Project, Inc.). She aims to empower mothers, giving them support both emotionally and physically, and to provide advocacy when needed.
